Welcome to
Angier Baptist Church
We are a community of faith in which we are leading religious and non-religious people to become fully devoted followers of Christ through teaching, worship, and service. We all need a place that we belong. We are family here and it is our hope to make you experience this wonderful fellowship at Angier Baptist Church.
Upcoming Events and Information
Youth Mission Trip: The youth will travel to Lake Providence, LA July 11-18 with Mission Serve. There are 42 participants and we ask that you keep each of them in your prayers. You may email members of the group at www.servemg.com during the week and keep them uplifted in prayer. There will be a complete list on the bulletin board in the church hallway. On Wednesday July 15, we plan to have a live feed back to the church via skype so the youth can report on the week thus far from the Mississippi River. Join us that night in the sanctuary at 7pm.
Vacation Bible School: This Year VBS will be held Sunday, July 26- Thursday, July 30. We are excited and looking forward to a great week. Signups for teachers, volunteers, and T-shirts can be found outside the church office. Our theme is Boomerang Express and we will be traveling the outback in search of Jesus.
Our VBS kickoff will be Sunday, July 26 at 6pm at the Angier Pool. We will have a wonderful evening swimming and having fellowship until 9pm. Registration will take place at this time also. Refreshments (homemade ice cream and cookies) will be served. All families are asked to bring at least two non-perishable food items for the Angier Area Food Pantry. Suggestions are: Ramine noodles, speghetti noodles and sauce, jelly, rice, peanut butter, canned fruits and vegetables, canned meats, cereal, powdered and evaporated milk. VBS sessions for monday - thursday will be 7-9pm at Angier Baptist.
