Children's Ministry

The children's department is an exciting and active part of Angier Baptist Church. We have something to offer for all children. Our goal is to teach children the good news of Jesus Christ, to help them come to know Him as their Lord and Savior and to give them the tools to develop a close, personal relationship with Christ.

The Kids For Christ Gang (KFC Gang) is for all children ages kindergarten-5th grade. The KFC Gang enjoys learning Bible stories and participating in Bible activities and games on Wed nights. Twice a year, the KFC Gang performs big musical productions. We do these at Christmas time and in the springtime. The children enjoy singing and acting in these Christian plays which not only are fun to present but also offer the children a chance to learn more about Jesus through drama.

On Sunday nights, we offer Mission Friends to children ages 3-5, Younger GA's (Girls in Action) for girls ages kindergarten-2nd grade, Older GA's for girls Third-Fifth Grade and RA's (Royal Ambassadors) for boys ages kindergarten-5th grade. These groups learn the importance of mission work. They also learn how they can be a missionary by helping others in need and at the same time, spreading the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Much emphasis is put on teaching the girls and boys to enjoy reaching out to help those less fortunate and to share with them God's love for all His people.

WHEN WE MEET:
Sunday night- RA's, GA's and Mission Friends meet from 6:00-7:00 pm
Wednesday night- KFC Gang meets from 7:00-8:00 pm
Children's church is offered for children ages 4-2nd grades on Sunday mornings during morning worship service following the children's sermon.

November- making shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child
Dec 16- Christmas play, "Christmas In Reverse" 7 pm
